b. Select Screen Clipping to capture a part of any of the windows.

Your cursor turns to a plus icon, and your screen turns blurred.

Click, hold, and drag the mouse to select your desired portion of the window.

Release your hand when done, and Word automatically inserts your selected portion of the window into your document.

NOTE: To insert your desktop screenshot, close or minimize all documents that can interfere with the screen. You do not need to close the document you are working with for Word closes it automatically when you select Screen Clipping as you follow the above steps.
