Do you know what it means to intercede for someone? That means to plead on their behalf. These verses show us that when we don’t know how to pray, the Holy Spirit (that God has given us as our Helper when we become His child) prays for us because He understands the will of God. Jesus told the disciples in John 14 that He would send a Helper, the Spirit of truth, to be with them so that they would not be left as orphans when He went back to heaven.

God always has a plan. He has given us His Spirit, who knows His will and who will go to God on our behalf when we pray, seeking to know His will.

Now that we know that God has provided a Helper to help lead us in His will, is there any way we can know the Commander in Chief’s specific will?
