Hassan and Aneesa are fasting today. Mummy asks them to

help her cook dinner. They will share it with their neighbour.

“Mmmm, this smells yummy!” says Hassan.

Mummy, Daddy, Hassan and Aneesa take food to their

neighbour. Hassan rings the doorbell and Mrs Smith appears.

“Happy Ramadan Mrs Smith. This food is for you,” says Aneesa.

“Thank you so very much, that’s ever so kind of you.”

“I’m hungry after all that work,” says Aneesa.

Suddenly she eats a banana.

“Aneesa! Stop. You broke your fast!”

says Hassan.

“Mummy said I’m little so I can eat

something,” says Aneesa.
