“Clean my house for visitors.” (Hajj 22:26)

The Kaaba in the outer realm needs to be cleaned for those servants who would visit it. The Kaaba in the inner realm also needs to be kept clean for the observation of Haqq (The True). The performance of this cleansing is fitting for the human being and such a proper thing to do. It is superior to [all] other purifications.

After this, with the light of ruhul quds (the holy spirit), it is necessary to get into the ihram. Then one enters the Kaaba of the heart. Later, the tawaf of qudum is made as you continue to recite the second name, “Allah the Most High.” 2 After this you go to the Arafat of qalb (the heart), which is the place of supplication (munaajaa). There you do qiyam (standing) with the third name, “Hu” (Allah; analogous to the third person pronoun “He” or “Him,” except that it implies no gender). The fourth name, “Haqq” (The True), also needs to be continuously recited. Then you connect between the fifth name, “Hayy” (The Alive One), and the sixth name, “Qayyum” (The Eternal Caretaker) and proceed to the Muzdalifa of fuad (the eye of the heart; the heart as the center of perception). After this you go to the secret mind between the two sanctuaries. You do qiyam there and sacrifice nafs-i mutmaina (the tranquil nafs, the fourth level of tasawwuf) by reciting the seventh name, “Qahhar” (The Subduer or Destroyer). The name “Qahhar” opens the door to nothingness and lifts the veils of kufr (unbelief). The following honorable hadith (tradition or saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him) explains this condition very well:
