5.3 Vague Lie Subalgebras Over a Vague Field

Different authors from time to time have made a number of generalizations of Zadeh’s fuzzy set theory. The notion of vague set was introduced by Gau and Buehrer [76]. This is because in most cases of judgments, the evaluation is done by human beings and so the certainty is a limitation of knowledge or intellectual functionaries. Naturally, every decision maker hesitates more or less on every evaluation activity. For example, in order to judge whether a patient has cancer or not, a medical doctor (the decision maker) will hesitate because of the fact that a fraction of evaluation he thinks in favor of the truthness, another fraction in favor of the falseness and the rest part remains undecided to him. This is the breaking philosophy in the notion of vague set theory introduced by Gau and Buehrer.
