The plaque bearing the inscription APOSTOLUS HERMETICAE SCIENTIAE (Apostle of Hermetic Science) has disappeared, apparently either purposely removed or stolen, but the photo on page 94 shows the plaque in place.

Champagne’s sister Renée sent a letter of thanks to René Schwaller de Lubicz on September 21, 1932. From this letter we learn that it was Aor who paid for the enclosure and the tombstone of “his old friend” (fig. 5.26, pages 96–99).
