The Scrubbing slider allows you to adjust the colors of an image by placing the eyedropper icon on the area that you want to alter. By moving the Scrubbing slider to the left, you darken the image. (The numbers will move from 0 to -200.) When you move the Scrubbing slider to the right, you lighten the image. (The numbers will move from 0 to +300.)

11. Select any area in Challen’s jacket.

No matter which area you select, the Color Selection tool will select the Blue slider.

12. Click-drag the slider to the left until the value in the Blue slider is -96 (Figure 5.30). You should see this (Figure 5.31).
