Boiling water - 2 1/ 2 tbsp.
Eggs ( separated ) - 4
Sugar - 1 cup
Cocoa â 2 tbsp.
Golden syrup â 1 tbsp.
Corn flour ( sifted ) - 1 cup
Flour - 1 tbsp.
Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
Baking powder - 1 tsp.

Procedure:
Preheat oven to 375°F . Grease a sponge tin .
Whisk egg whites until thick . Combine with yolks . Beat thoroughly .
Combine sugar and boiling water . Stir into eggs with golden syrup .
Mix for 3 minutes .
Sift together all flour, corn - flour, and baking powder . Fold into mixture .
Pour batter into the tins .
Bake for 25 minutes .
Cool before serving .
