Chapter Five

Hallah bit her lip. Such a rugged specimen of man. She’d known he was good-looking. But without his clothes, he was a wonder that she could look at all day long.

Rogin was tall and lithe with tight muscles that rippled as he moved. He was large but not burly. His legs were the size of small tree trunks. He didn’t move like a man so large; instead, he had a grace to him. His cock sprang from his body like some divining rod. He was a big man everywhere.

He looked at her expectantly, and she realized his mouth had been moving. He’d been talking to her and now expected a response.

She hadn’t been listening. “What?”

He chuckled, looking amused, the sound making his body move and ripple in delectable ways. Best of all, making his cock swing. “I said, why don’t you come here.” He arched a brow at her and waited with his hands down by his side.

A challenge.

There would have to be give and take between them. Both of them enjoyed dispensing orders and were used to having those commands followed. Occasionally one of them was going to have to back down and cede to the other.

He was seeing how well she could compromise. It was a skill she’d had to learn. Dunstan had taught her well about that. He’d be teaching Rogin too on that point.

She caught his gaze and kept hers level with his, not ducking her head for one moment. She strode to his side with her head high, shoulders back, and her chest thrust out toward him. It was one of her best assets. She knew to use it to her advantage. Many times in negotiations a man’s eyes would never meet hers because they were so focused on her breasts.

He practically drooled as she reached him. Despite her attempt to keep her gaze focused on his eyes, his gaze had dipped below her neck. She didn’t mind because he looked so damn appreciative.

She passed him and circled him in the medium-size tent. He would fill up a smaller-size domicile as he was the largest thing in there. She came full circle to the front of his body and stopped. “Kiss me.” Now it was his turn. She would see if he could negotiate or if he had to be in charge all the time.

His smile grew as large as it could, looking all too knowing about what she was up to.
