If my wings

grew tired,

I would find

shelter among

the rocks and

fall asleep to

the sound of

the crashing

surf.

When dawn

lit the sky, off I

would fly again,

shooting far over

take my perch,

while far below me

pigeons cooed and

flapped and fluttered
