CHAPTER SIX

Ryan

I stood in Julian’s embrace, clutching him to me. At least his behavior made more sense now. It stung a little that he thought I had found another man, but I could overlook it. What he’d just told me brought some light to the issue. I hated to admit it, but I had been moody and ill-tempered.

“How do we go on now?” I murmured in his ear. We’d found the reasons for the fight, but we hadn’t really resolved anything.

“I don’t know. I was just thinking I’d like to give bottoming a try with you. You know what you’re doing and maybe we can make it work. If we can’t, I’m sorry. But I’d like to give this to you. And I trust you more than anyone else I’ve ever met.”

“You’re married to me. I hope there’s nobody else.”

He chuckled.

“But in all seriousness, I don’t want you to do anything just because I want to. It’s not worth it. And I won’t hurt you.”

“But I want to. Let’s try it. If it doesn’t work we can always stop.”

I looked at him. “Are you really sure?” A surge of lust ran through me at the thought of having his ass. And the warm feeling that filled me because he was really considering letting me top him. It didn’t matter if it worked or not. If he was uncomfortable with it, I’d stop. But he was willing to try. For me. With me. Though the thought of hurting him made me very uncomfortable.

“You have no idea how much I love you.”

He smiled at me. “Since I love you just as much, I think I do. Come on; let’s go to bed. I need you.”

I allowed him to pull me in the direction of our bedroom. Today was not about power play; it was time for some lovemaking.
