Ingredients for the frosting:
1 cup of butter, soft
3 ½ cups of powdered sugar
2 to 4 Tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla
Dash of salt
Ingredients for the filling:
3 to 4 cups of strawberries, chopped
1 tablespoon of white sugar

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a cupcake pan with paper cupcake liners.
2. Prepare the cupcakes. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add in the butter and white sugar. Beat on the highest setting until fluffy in consistency. Add in the eggs and pure vanilla. Continue to beat until mixed.
3. In a separate bowl, add in the white flour and baking powder. Stir well to mix. Add into the butter mix and stir well until just mixed. Add in the whole milk and stir well until incorporated.
4. Pour the batter into the cupcake pan, filling the cups ¾ of the way full.
5. Place into the oven to bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until baked through. Remove and set out to cool completely.
6. Prepare the frosting. In a bowl of a stand mixer, add in the butter. Beat for 3 minutes or until the butter is pale in consistency. Add in the powdered sugar, pure vanilla and heavy whipping cream. Beat will until fluffy in consistency.
7. Prepare the filling. In a bowl, add in the chopped strawberries. Sprinkle the white sugar over the top and toss to mix. Set aside to rest for 15 minutes.
8. Pour the frosting into a piping bag. Pipe the frosting in a circular motion on the top of the cupcakes, making sure to leave a circle in the middle.
9. Add a tablespoon of the filling in the center of the frosting.
10. Serve immediately.
