Chapter Fourteen

Interrupted

In the house, Mica’s family gathered in the livingroom. Angelic smiled at me. I’m guessing that she felt my mood, which is kind of embaressing. I’m having more than one type of feeling at the moment, one do to when Mica and I were in the limo, and the other nervous as I don’t know what, but happy at the same time because I was about to get what my heart truely desired..., Mica forever.

“Dad.” Mica spoke. “Raven has just agreed to me turning her tonight. Right now. So I think we should prepare.” He smiled with so much excitement as he spoke to his father. I loved to see that I was making him so happy.

Charles looked at me. “Since you have decided Raven, their is somethings that you must know first.” He looked very seriously at me now. It almost had me worried about what I was about to hear.

“What do I need to know?” I asked. “I thought that I knew everything.” I looked around at everyone trying to desipher their now worried expressions.

Angelic answered my question. “Raven, honestly.... we may have to strap you down or hold you down one. This is only one of the many things that you need to know.”

“Why would I have to be held down or whatever?” I asked trying not to sound anxious.

Mica answered this time. He pulled my face towards his and spoke quietly and in a gentle way. “Something that I did not tell you Raven, about when I bite you. It will be extremely painful and we don’t know what your reaction will be from the pain, you may try to fight me off, but you could only get yourself hurt in the process and another thing, where I bite you it will scarr.”

I just looked at him and wondered if I could handle that type of pain, then decided that may be in my best intrest if I am restrained. “I can understand that.” I said. “Tell me though, what else do I need to know?”

“Well when the change begins, you will be in complete blackness, but we are sure that you will still be aware of the pain, mostly. The pain is unbareable, but their will be nothing that you can do about it until it stops. As of our expierences were about the same, we feel that yours will also. The pain will not stop until you eventually......,die. I guess thats what you can say. It will be many day’s before you wake up to your new life. That is the part that was mainly different for us. We were all out for different amounts of time, but we do not know what the reason is for that.” Mica spoke these words very seriously and conserning to me. He looked worried. I could tell that the idea of the pain was not his favorite thing about this, he must have been remembering his own change.

“Well as bad as I’m scared of this, it still doen’t change my mind.
