After the misadventure in my last experiment I was feeling really apprehensive about my next research investigation, and hence my choice of a steady 25mg dose. The sunlight was raining down right into my eyes through the gable window. I was averse to doing a 180 from my favoured position, and so I stood up and affixed a drawing made by my young boys onto the transom of the gable window. The drawing was signed and heart-warmingly dedicated to me as “...the best baba in the world”. With the sun’s rays curtailed I laid there for some several minutes ruminating on my research anxieties. Several WTFs passed through my mind, in the sense of “WTF am I doing?” But I did not like the profanity to have such easy sway in my mind, and so I curbed the WTFs and instead employed a slip of the tongue that I had spoken last week, whereby “pickled chillies” had become “chickled pillies”. It was enough to lighten my mood and make me realise that I should have courage in my conviction towards this research. Thus I sat up and inhaled a very slow and a very careful first intake. It gave much less vapour than I had expected. The second attempt was just as careful, though I ensured I cleared out the full volume of the available dose. The dense vapour from that second intake was held down in my lungs. I laid my head back down upon the pillows and exhaled. I implored myself to be as super sharp in my observations as I possibly could be, but the inner sound in my head was already rising very rapidly, and all too soon the entire location seemed to be filled with a terrific energy that seemed to be far too great to be solely emanating from me alone. Before I knew what was what the hallucinatory episode had begun. It was wrought in incredibly high definition and every surface therein was pristine and perfect. The colours were strong and vibrant but not garish. In short, the entire visual quality of the hallucination seemed substantially more real than real life. The hallucination was one wherein those cheeky and mischievous fast moving humanlike entities were entering and departing in an unpredictable manner; within repeating scenery that seemed to noiselessly bang shut like a book, only for a new scene to immediately reopen in an equally unpredictable manner. And it was so astonishingly entertaining. These episodes are simply impossible to compare with anything that I have ever seen or will ever see in televisual or cinematic media. On and on it went, just defying all common sense and rationality, and seeming to somehow know the effect it was having on me, until at last I exploded with childlike hilarity because I was unable to take anymore astonishment. I yelled aloud my pleasure: “Alright, alright, alright! Enough!” I burst into glee like laughter.
