Hiding Larger Items

Large items are not quite as easy to hide. In fact, you would be doing yourself a major disservice by trying to hide something that is big and obvious. The key is to disguise it rather than hide it. You want the average person to look right over it without thinking twice about it. It is all about how you dress it up and blend it in with the surroundings.

Under the bed, in the closet or stashed in the garage are not good options. These are typically the first places a person looking for valuables would check. However, you can get a little creative and when somebody pops their head into the closet, they won't see what you have carefully disguised with clothing and shoes.

Here are a few tricks to hiding big things in the home or even in a shed or barn.

● Rubber totes are not attractive, sparkly or expensive looking. Hiding larger objects in these and stashing them in the garage with a label, Christmas Decorations, will have people looking right over the top of them.
