Tektite
Tektite is formed when a large meteorite hits the Earth. Both the meteorite and the rock that it strikes here on Earth evaporate on impact. Splashes of molten matter are flung out in the explosion and solidify in the air.
Tektite encourages us to realize that we are spiritual beings and strengthens our empathetic and clairvoyant abilities. It brings spontaneity, impulsiveness, and new ideas, and it frees us from anxiety and attachment to material things.
Tektite appears to have a very positive influence on stress caused by electromagnetic pollution, especially the kind caused by high frequency radiation (cell phones, cordless telephones, and so on). Kinesiological tests show that the body appears to react less strongly to a cell phone conversation if a piece of tektite is being carried at the time. It would seem, therefore, that tektite can improve our ability to cope with and help compensate for this radiation, at least for a short time. However, that does not mean that the radiation is harmless or does not leach energy from the body. Even armed with a tektite crystal, in the long run frequent exposure to radiation stress will lead to severe depletion of the bodyâs energy reserves. Tektite can occasionally be used to cope with unavoidable stress in certain circumstances, but prevention is the preferred optionâitâs always best to simply avoid unnecessary exposure to damaging radiation whenever possible.
As a general rule, tektite can assist with all strong physical, spiritual, and mental stress, in order to help us to be able to âswitch offâ when necessary. So when stress is severe, we can also use it to create some space, giving ourselves time to take action. This will not be effective in the long term, however. We still need to identify and remove the causes of the stress.
On a physical level, tektite crystal encourages healing. It does so by prompting awareness of the causes of an illness. It is especially helpful in the case of infectious diseases.
Tip: When the Crystal Healing Association tested tektite, it found that the crystal may actually activate latent or potential diseases. In the end, this may be viewed as part of the healing process, but it may also be rather unpleasant if you arenât expecting it!
