As the workday wound down, I found myself lingering in my office, savoring the quiet after the hustle and bustle of another hectic Friday. The warm glow of the setting sun filtered through the blinds, casting long shadows across my desk. I leaned back in my chair, a contented sigh escaping my lips as I reflected on the day's events.

Just as I was considering packing up, my phone buzzed with a text notification. A smile tugged at my lips as I saw Kaitlyn's name on the screen. I opened the message, curious about what my boss-turned-lover might have to say.

"Looking forward to our 'strategy session' on Monday, Mr. Wright. I expect you to come prepared."

I felt a rush of heat at her words, remembering our last private "meeting" in her office. Kaitlyn's ability to seamlessly blend professionalism with sensuality never failed to leave me breathless.

Before I could formulate a response, another text came through, this time from Taylor.

"Hope you haven't forgotten about our Tuesday 'sneaking lesson', Wright. I've got some new techniques I'm dying to show you."

I chuckled, shaking my head at Taylor's playful innuendo. Her boldness was as intoxicating as ever, and I found myself already counting down the days until Tuesday.

As if on cue, my phone buzzed again. Rachel's name flashed across the screen, and I felt a familiar warmth spread through my chest.

"Just wanted to say goodnight, Ethan. Sweet dreams... maybe of me in that new outfit I bought today?"

My eyebrows shot up. Rachel, my sweet, usually reserved Rachel, was teasing me? I grinned, imagining the blush that must have colored her cheeks as she sent that message.

Finally, a text from Sam lit up my screen.

"Miss you already! Can't wait for our cooking class next week. Maybe we can practice some... hands-on techniques afterward? ;)"

I laughed out loud at Sam's enthusiasm, coupled with her adorable attempt at flirtation. She was growing more confident every day, and it was a joy to witness.

As I sat there, phone in hand, a wave of emotion washed over me. Here I was, at the center of this incredible web of relationships, each woman reaching out to remind me of our connection. Despite their growing friendships with each other, they still made me feel valued, desired, and loved.

I started to type out individual responses, but then paused, struck by an idea. Instead, I opened our group chat and wrote:

"Ladies, your messages have made my evening. I'm the luckiest man alive to have each of you in my life. Here's to a fantastic weekend ahead. Love you all."

I hit send, then leaned back in my chair, a wide grin spreading across my face. Whatever challenges lay ahead, I knew we'd face them together - as a family.

With a renewed spring in my step, I grabbed my jacket and headed for the door. The weekend was calling, and I couldn't wait to see what it had in store. Kaitlyn had told me she had something planned, but I had no idea what.

As I pressed the elevator button, I found myself grinning like an idiot.
