A fruitwood dining table is the centerpiece of this room, complemented by an eighteenth-century French sideboard found in Bordeux. An auction yielded the eight Italian neoclassical, eighteenth-century side chairs as well as the nineteenth-century English paintings.

The backs of the dining chairs are painted with beautiful detail and are accented with gilt details.

In this home, the dining area is at the opposite end of the living room. The dining table is an antique French farm table with drop-end leaves. The host chair is a nineteenth-century antique French fauteuil covered in Brunschwig & Fils’s “Ma Cabine au Canada,” with a Brunschwig & Fils check on the back. The curtains are vintage-style ticking in a sagebrush color named “Parasol” by Fabricut. The double skirt fringe is by Tuscany Trimmings.
