Chapter ELEVEN

Detective Brown:

I was sipping my cup of coffee when someone started knocking at my office door, "Come in" I responded quickly wasting a little bit on my white collar shirt.

"Hey, I have something for you," Paige said sticking her head in through the door.

"Yeah well, what is it?" I asked getting a couple of tissues wiping my chest where the spilled coffee was.

"Do you remember that case some months back with that dude Sebastian and his wife Stacey?"

"Of course I do what's up?"

"Well she sent you a letter and you might want to read this."

I held my hand out reaching for the letter opened it and read a few lines. "Shut the door," I said pausing from the letter then reading it out loud.

"If you are reading this then know that I am already dead, I know I lied to you from the beginning but I already knew that when I actually started telling you the truth it fell on deaf ears. At this time all I'm asking you is to reopen my case Sebastian and Mike ARE NOT who you think they are, they are a product of what has happened to me. I've lost everything so it isn't much else I could ever lose, when I told you Sebastian would take my kids and leave me out in the cold that was true and rather you want to believe it or not detective you have been played. Please take into consideration to what I'm saying, there is more to this family than what it appears on the surface, do not be fooled by their ways Sebastian is dirty so is Mike and so is their mom! Yes, I poisoned Sebastian and Roberto but it was all for the sake of getting away. To reopen this case I know you need proof, I know my word means nothing but it would allow me to put some color in the gray areas that would be great. I knew that Sebastian and Mike were going to set me up it was just a matter of time. When I told you that Mike and I were in love that wasn't a lie... We were... Mike and Sebastian are nothing less than a Cain and Abel story for the present. Watch out for them and know that your department will not be too far away for what's about to happen. My hopes are only that you don't stay dumb for too much longer. Please believe what I'm saying for the sake of my children and my name.
