Daisy was exhausted. She had fallen asleep on the short journey back from the beach at Mappleton and was still asleep as I carried her indoors. I had really enjoyed today, although I felt guilty that Keeley wasn’t with us. Freya was a little quieter than she normally was, though, and I think it was because of something I said this morning. Everything was going ok until I asked her about children and she just clammed up and said she wasn’t hungry anymore. I felt really bad, but with Daisy around us today I didn’t get a chance to ask her about it and apologise for upsetting her.
