An Evil Plot

Mr. Red had to reanalyze his approach for the next phase of the game. His first phase of the game was not as successful as he had wished. He had never gone to this extent before because he had always been successful in convincing others during his initial game plan. He needed a new approach. He thought Maya and her team would respond better if he played a different game altogether. He imagined that he was playing a game of Cricket similar to Baseball, but with different rules; and different set up. He signaled his teammates to spread out among the other birds of the forest. He needed more cheering crowds to convince Maya and her team to join them. Mr. Black became nervous and started pacing. Mr. Red pretended to rub the new ball with his wings, as he threw the first pitch of the new game. His goal was strike Maya’s stumps with his first delivery. Mr. Red pretended that he was running, and then jumping, and then throwing a ball, aiming at the middle stump (wicket), as Maya prepared to face his first delivery (pitch).

“Friends, as you know, sometimes quantity matters more than quality. Just like humans enjoy a buffet more than individually prepared meals- even thought they know that the quality may not be as good as the individually prepared meals- there is more variety. We are also going to follow the same formula. That is why we need more volunteers. We have a step-by-step approach. It would be up to you to decide which team you want to participate in. Our first step is to infuriate, intimidate and humiliate all humans.”

“Really…and how are we supposed to do that?” Molly snapped.

Mr. Red remained calm and threw his second pitch. “Simple. Make everything dirty and filthy. Make their lives more difficult and expensive. And the good news is that they’re already going broke. Hah…hah…hah…”

Once again, as he laughed, his puppet teammates echoed his laughter.

“Did you say, filthy and dirty? How…?” Molly snapped again.

“Poop…Poop. Hah…hah…hah…,” Once again Mr. Red said it loudly to lighten the atmosphere. As expected, all the birds started cracking up in laughter. Some even started gesturing, while others started screaming, “Poop…poop…poop…”

Mr. Red knew that he had turned some non-believers into believers. His delivery had made a mark on all, except for Maya who was still standing strong. Once the laughter had evaporated with the heat, he continued with a follow up pitch. “Yes, you heard it right. Poop everywhere. Poop on their clothes, on their cars, on their homes, on their faces, on their hair- everywhere. Can you imagine how much we could irritate them by pooping on their crisp dry-cleaned clothes? Can you imagine how much we could annoy them by pooping on their shiny shoes? Can you imagine how angry they would get, if we made their cars dirty by pooping on the windshields? Can you imagine how frustrated those brunettes, dark-hairs and blondes would be, if we pooped on
