Miles and Directions

0.0 Start at northeast section of the Miller Gulch trailhead parking lot, to the left of the vaulted toilet. Traverse up the hill, moving left.

0.5 Arrive on the bench of a saddle where the 360-degree view opens up. The trail levels out and moves slightly up hill.

0.7 At the junction with a doubletrack trail, indicated by a metal post marked corrals trail (31), turn right (south) onto the doubletrack trail. Follow the ridge—at 3,600 feet elevation, the highest point of the hike.

1.2 Travel down a gentle incline toward the roadside parking for another, undeveloped trailhead. The Miller Gulch trailhead is to the right, in the valley.

1.4 Arrive at the kiosk and gate of the Corrals–Bogus Basin Road trailhead. (Option: If you left a car at this trailhead, your hike is over.) Turn around and return the way you came. (Option: Extend your hike on some of the other trails branching off the route described here.)

2.8 Arrive back at the Miller Gulch trailhead.
