French Style Macaroons
This is a traditional cookie recipe that has a bit of a twist on it. This is a great cookie dish packed full of that sweet flavor that we all know and love and that is very easy to make.
Yield: 8 Cookies
Cooking Time: 2 Hours and 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
3 Eggs, Whites Only
¼ Cup of Sugar, White
1 2/3 Cups of Confectioner’s Sugar
1 Cup of Almonds, Finely Ground

Instructions:
1. The first thing that you will want to do is line a cookie sheet with a silicone mat that is safe for baking.
2. Then beat your egg whites in a large sized mixing bowl. Continue to beat until light and foamy in consistency. Then beat in your sugar and continue to beat until your eggs are fluffy and begin to form small peaks.
3. Next add your confectioner’s sugar and ground almonds into a small sized bowl and fold into your egg whites, making sure that you don’t stir too hard.
4. One mixed spoon a small amount of your cookie batter into a plastic bag. Cut the corner of this bag and use it as a piper to pike one dish of batter onto your cookie sheet, making sure to form them into small disks. Continue to do so until all of your dough has been used and allow to stand out for at least an hour until the dough becomes hard on top.
5. While your cookies are resting preheat your oven to 285 degrees.
6. After an hour place your cookies into your oven and bake for the next 10 minutes or until your cookies are fully set. Remove and allow the cookies to cool completely. Serve whenever you are ready. Enjoy!
