Bethany sighed as Jonathan carried her to his bed. She felt about as substantial as a wet noodle and didn’t care one whit that she needed him to cradle her. His heat surrounded her, his scent intoxicated her, and Bethany wanted nothing more at that moment than just to wallow in him.

“Let’s get you under the blankets.” Jonathan’s deep, husky voice sent a shiver through her.

“You, too.”

“Mm, yes, me, too. For a bit. I want to get dinner started.”

“We can make it together.” Bethany had never had the pleasure of working with a man to put a meal together, but she thought she just might like doing so with Jonathan.

“I’d rather you had a nice, long nap, sweetheart,” he said.

He’d laid her on the bed, then got in beside her and pulled the blankets over them both. She wasted no time in snuggling into him and wrapping herself around him. Her head rested on his shoulder, in that special hollow that felt as if it had been designed just for her.

“I don’t usually have afternoon naps.” Bethany chuckled because a yawn had framed her words.

“You don’t usually spend the afternoon tied up, blindfolded, and being fucked, either,” Jonathan said.

He could make the most outrageous statements sound perfectly normal.

“You have a point.” She sighed, because he’d begun running his hands up and down her back in a completely languid and seductive caress. “Maybe I could have a little nap.” Bethany closed her eyes and let herself relax completely in his arms.

“We’ll make lots of meals together, sweetheart.” The sound of his voice echoing through his chest made her smile. She would have a short nap but had every intention of getting up with him to make dinner.
