You’re in too much of a hurry.

I was thirty-five.

Just wait.

What do you think I’ve been doing?

I wait in my bed alone each night.

I amble to parties without a date.

I attend as a maid of honor, no veil.

It’ll happen when it happens.

You always move too fast.

Why can’t you just sit tight?
