5 Dust the leaves with a mixture of woodland, foliage and edelweiss petal dusts. Catch the edges with a touch of aubergine. Allow to dry and then spray very lightly with edible spray varnish.
6 Dust the gum nut pods with the same mixture, adding aubergine and nutkin brown into the very heart and very edges of the pod and slightly at the base. Allow to dry and spray lightly with edible spray varnish. Tape over each leaf stem with quarter-width nile green floristry tape. Tape the leaves alternating down the length of a 22-gauge white wire with half-width nile green tape. Add the gum nuts in clusters from the leaf axils.
