While his dad was talking about the people in heaven, Cole also remembered hearing about mansions in heaven. “What about mansions?” he asked. “I remember Mrs. Parker talking about mansions in Sunday School class.”

Mr. Williams smiled. “Yes, the Bible does talk about mansions; but the word means ‘dwelling places.’ Jesus told His disciples that He would be preparing a place for them and us. In that place, Jesus said there would be ‘many dwelling places,’ meaning room for everyone (John 14:2).” Mr. Williams arranged some smaller blocks inside the walls to represent the mansions.

“There! How does it look?” Mr. Williams asked. Cole and his dad were lying on the floor, looking at what Mr. Williams had built. Both of them couldn’t help but smile as they thought of that wonderful place called heaven.

“Cool!” Cole said, as he stared at all the toys, imagining what heaven looked like.
