Shh, kittens are sleeping.

They’re cuddling Mom so tight.

They’ll have sweet dreams of mice and milk

Until the morning light.

night night, kittens.

Shh, my mommy’s sleeping.

She’s tucked us all in bed.

But at the sun’s first ray of light,

She’ll yawn and raise her head.

night night, Mommy.

Shh, my daddy’s sleeping.

I giggle as he snores.

And when tomorrow comes for us,

We’ll laugh and play some more!

night night, Daddy.

God, thank You for the trees, the birds,

The sun that shines above.

And thank You most of all, dear God,

For watching us with love.
