While getting dressed, a knock came at my front door. Pulling the shirt over my head, I moved swiftly out of my bedroom to the living room to answer the door. Looking through the peephole, I was shocked to see my visitor. He only stopped by when his back was against the wall. I stepped aside to let him in. He came in and removed his jacket.

“Damn, you’re in here baking yourself, I see. Why is it so hot?” he asked, turning around to look at me.

I rolled my eyes before I shut the door and walked around him.

“Because it’s cold as fuck outside. What made you stop by?” I asked, making my way into the kitchen. “Do you want some coffee?”

He nodded, sitting down at the island. “Yeah. I want a small cup. Man, a lot is on my mind.”

I scoffed as I removed a coffee mug from the cabinet. “And you thought you’d come to me, knowing we’d end up arguing in the end?”

He chuckled. “Ain’t like you complaining.”

I fixed his coffee and set it in front of him before I left to get the cream and sugar. After I did that, I went to take a seat next to him on a stool.

“So wassup? What’s going on?”

He blew air out his mouth. “Man, a lot. I just found out the girl I fucked with pregnant.”

To hear him confirm it, I didn’t know what to say.

When I finally found my voice, I said, “Oh, wow. So you mean to tell me you be going in this lady raw every month?”

He gave me the death glare. “You know me better than that shit. I’m always using a condom with every female I’m with. Don’t try to play me.”

That comment he made, made me go still. Did he used a condom with me that night? Since he made a comment like that, he probably did. For both of our sake, I hope like hell that he did.

I chuckled. “Well, I don’t see how she’s pregnant with your baby. I guess congratulations are in order.”

He scoffed, licking his lips. “I don’t feel like it is a good thing. You of all people know how much I don’t want to be a father.”

I nodded. “Of course. And you know I don’t want to be a mother. But you have to get prepared for it.”

He took a sip of his drink before he said anything else. “Nah. I’m not preparing for shit. I’m getting a DNA test done before the baby gets here. She’s not about to have me going to appointments and shit and the baby not mine. Hell nah.”

I chuckled. “Well, I can’t say I blame you. You’ll be doing the right thing. At least you won’t have to worry about fucking her this month since you already fucked me. That’s your one-time fuck session for the month.”

He cut his eyes at me before he dropped it. “Uhhh… about that.”

I jumped up. “What? So you mean to tell me you’ve fucked her and then me in the same month.
