The day of cheating

All things in the heavens and on the earth give glory to God. To him belong all majesty and glory and power.

It was God who created you; yet some of you refuse to believe, while others have faith. He is aware of all your actions. He created the heavens and the earth to manifest the truth. He fashioned each one of you – and each one of you is beautiful. To God you will all return. He knows all that the heavens and the earth contain. He knows all that you hide and all that you reveal. He knows your deepest thoughts.

Have you not heard of people in the past who refused to believe? They have already suffered through their unbelief; and a terrible punishment awaits them. When their apostles brought them clear arguments, they said: 'Will mortals be our guides?' They denied the truth, and turned their backs. But God has no need of them; he has all he needs, and he alone should be praised.

The unbelievers deny the resurrection. I say to you that by the Lord's power you will certainly be raised to life. Then you will be told of all you have done; that is easy for God.

On the day of resurrection God will gather you together in one place. That will be the day of cheating: those who are blessed will cheat those who are damned of their places in paradise.
