I have given up trying to control what's not mine to control, most of the time.

I have given years of practice to listening to the softer voice of the Holy Spirit and much (though not all) of my behavior has changed.

I know that I can change my perspective on any situation and there will be an instant, visceral shift in how I feel.

I know that there are no accidents, that whatever comes my way was and will always be a lesson intended for me and there will be spiritual growth within it.

I can recognize appeals for healing and help, and—more important—I know exactly how to respond to them.
