"No," Grimmaud said. "Not a word. Nothing unusual. The Mistral left the yacht basin this morning and took up its usual station off Plage de Tahiti, just as it has done every morning this week. Monsieur Thuret is on holiday, I suppose. He spends his days off the beach, his nights in the yacht basin. He brings his daughter ashore for dinner and for dancing each evening. Nothing suspicious."

Bolan had told Grimmaud how he went on board the Mistral. He had described the conversation he had overheard, particularly the harsh voice of the woman he had been unable to identify.

"The woman's voice," Grimmaud asked, "you are sure it wasn't Mademoiselle Thuret?"

"I'm sure. It was the voice of an older woman." Grimmaud nodded thoughtfully. "Another wom..." he mused.

"Have you ever heard the name Anthony 'Deacon' Dicomano?" Bolan asked.

Grimmaud shook his head.

"Check with RG," Bolan said, referring to Renseignements Generaux, the records office of Surete.
