Now. One thing to note here, that result cannot be used for math just yet. The result of the formula is not a number to Excel. It’s text.

If I copy and paste special-values the numbers in Column B to a new column, Excel is going to give me an error mark in the top left corner for each of those values telling me I have numbers stored as text. I can fix that by converting the numbers (as discussed in Intermediate Excel 365) using the dropdown:
