God Is Great

God is great, and God is good.

Bless the Lord, bless the Lord!

We take so many things for granted! We turn a faucet and out comes clean water. Yet there are places on Earth where there is no water at all. We flip a switch and on come the lights. Yet half of the world is without electricity. And when mealtime comes, we go to the grocery store to buy any kind of food we want. Yet there are places throughout the world today where food is in short supply.

With water, food, and light in such abundance, do we ever stop to say thank You? Maybe this is a good time to thank God for all He has given us. Let us say together, “Lord, we thank You for all You have given us. God, You are great. God, You are so good!”
