Enhancers (ISFP and INFP)
Enhancers prefer to communicate in a comfortable, low-key, one-on-one setting and tend to be supportive, empathic, quiet, and sensitive. Others see you as accommodating and nurturing. You may react personally to what is being said, and you may struggle to be objective, especially in situations that involve conflict or challenge. In these cases you may stop accommodating others and become withdrawn and stubborn, especially if your core personal values are challenged. Although you are usually committed to maintaining harmony and avoiding conflict, in the long term you may benefit from asserting your opinions and feelings. Carefully monitor your reactions when you receive corrective feedback; try to avoid feeling personally attacked. Challenge yourself to offer corrective feedback to help others learn and grow. Engage in conflict resolution even if it makes you uncomfortable. Use your ability to understand others’ situations to help you brainstorm win-win options.
