I heard everything that Jarvis had whispered in my ear last night, and I’m not going to lie, the confession he made to me did something to me as a woman. Number one, I was shocked as hell to even hear Jarvis quoting things from the bible, but he said it so fluently, like he knew exactly what he was talking about. I guess the time that he had spent away had paid off in the end because I promise that this wasn’t the same man who went away eight years ago. This man was more mature, more romantic, and just easier to talk to. Don’t get me wrong, he was still this thugged out nigga that I had fell in love with, but this Jarvis, I loved even more.

Can I just take a moment and address the way this man had made my body feel last night, or should I say early this morning? If I ever had for a second forgot the way that this man used to make my body feel, he damn sure reminded me. I swear he made me never want to fuck Chad again ever in my life, the way he worked that dick in me last night. Not to mention, the way my dumb ass almost forgot that I wasn’t on the pill and that we weren’t using protection, so thank God that I hollered for this man to pull out because Lord knows if he didn’t I would have taken the keys to that rental and went to the nearest Walgreens or CVS, to cop me a Plan B pill.

“I thought I told your ass to be out the bed when I get out the shower? Shonte, the funeral start at one, lil mama. It’s eleven now, we need to be getting ready. You already know I don’t play that late shit,” Jarvis said, coming back into his room with the towel wrapped around his waist, only to find me still laid out across the bed, with the covers pulled up over me, covering up my naked body.

“Hmmm. I’m so tired. You didn’t even get me breakfast,” I whined to him.

Jarvis walked over to me and placed a kiss on my forehead. “Go take a shower and stuff, and I’ll order you room service. What you want to eat?” he asked me.

“French toast,” I told him, admiring his sexy ass in that towel.

“Alright, I’ll have it in here by the time you finish showering. Go ahead,” he told me.

I got out of the bed, and almost immediately, I had that cramping feeling in my vagina, causing my walk to be a little off. I heard Jarvis laugh and I turned around and shot him the bird.

“I did that already. Your walk tells it all,” he told me.

Before I took my shower, I decided to go into my room first to get my phone because I needed to talk to my baby. I picked up my phone from the charger and I noticed that I had a few missed calls from La’shay and my mom, but none from Chad.
