Chapter Seven

Brady didn’t know what was going on with their hosts, but he refused to look a gift horse in the mouth. He intended to use this opportunity to get to know Sheridan better. What could he say, the woman intrigued him. Touching her was his new addiction, and he couldn’t keep his eyes off her in a one-piece bathing suit that did nothing to hide her curves. In fact, it accentuated them to the point where she might as well have been naked. He could see her nipples peeking through, and more than anything, he wanted to suck one of those delectable peaks into his mouth as he fingered her tight pussy.

He wasn’t so oblivious to not notice she wanted him too, but she was hesitant. He had to go slow with her. Even though he wanted to spend time with her, Sheridan seemed to have other ideas. She made a move to go past him, but he was quicker. He caught her by the wrist. “Going somewhere?”

She licked her lips in a nervous gesture, and all Brady could think about was that tongue sliding up and down his cock. “I think I should probably go back in.”

“Do you have other plans? Or do I make you nervous?”

She yanked her wrist out of his grasp. “Of course not.”

“Then stay out here with me…unless you’re chicken,” he taunted.

Sheridan rolled her eyes. “Oh that’s so mature.”

Brady realized he might be pushing too hard. Sheridan was like a skittish newborn colt. He needed to go slow with her. “Look, our hosts have been gracious enough to offer us an afternoon of relaxation by the pool. We may as well take advantage of the nice spread laid out for us.”

Her eyes darted from side to side before she looked up to meet his gaze again. “I don’t know…”

“We’ll be here for a week. For the sake of getting along, how about it?”

“Okay, but don’t try anything.”

Brady bit the inside of his lip to hide the smirk that threatened to curve his lips. “Scout’s honor.”

She raised a brow. “Something tells me you were never a Boy Scout.”

He grinned. “Maybe I was, maybe I wasn’t. Shall we?” He placed his hand on the small of her back and guided her over to the lounge chairs. He took a seat on one side of the refreshments, and Sheridan took the other. Sheridan leaned back and lifted her face to the sun. He was thankful to be wearing sunglasses, but he could only imagine how lascivious his gaze must have looked considering the thoughts running through his head.

Sheridan had a body made for sinning, and he couldn’t think of anyone he wanted to do bad things with more than her. “It’s strange being in a tropical paradise around Christmastime.”

She pulled down her shades and looked over at him. “What’s so strange about it? Many people prefer the heat when it gets cold.”

“I suppose, but I’m one of those people who feels like it isn’t Christmas unless there’s a foot of snow on the ground.
