His idea paid off. This much we know because God’s voice is heard three distinct times in the passage. Two of those instances involved clear communication from God. One, the still small voice, was unclear. But of these three occurrences only one of them provided the prophet with the clearest of instructions. The one instance that provided clear and precise instructions was the “sudden voice”. Again we see that precise and certain instructions are heard in hearing the clear voice of God.

So as you endeavor to learn about God and His ways, know that you can get precise direction from God. I would like to close out this chapter with a challenge. I want you to look at all the scriptures regarding the voice of God and see how many times God spoke in a way that left the recipient unsure of His expectations. I am certain that you will not find one! God always spoke with clear and precise direction and He will do it for you too!
