Fill in Choose a template screen
iOS has thee subchoices: Application, Framework & Library, and Other. Framework & Library is essentially “backend” work. System plug-ins extend OS X. Other is a catchall category for enhancing applications. New Xcode users almost always want to select Application. iOS supplies five Application templates.
Template
Purpose
Master-detail
When a master list is displayed and then an item is selected, more details about application
that item are displayed in a separate view.
Page-based application
Display a new page for each new view
Single view application
Displays a single page. The simplest iOS application.
Tabbled Application
Individual tabs can have a navigation controller and table view.
Game
Game
Select iOS and Single View then click on Next.
Fill in Choose options screen
Xcode waits for the developer to enter a project name.
