Objection 52. The Big Bang is unbiblical.

Response: The Big Bang may actually be one of the greatest attestations to the authenticity of Genesis. It was the bane of atheists when it was first proposed and as we’ve found out more, it’s become even worse for what is turning out to be their blind faith beliefs.

The Big Bang is not a good name. “The Big Controlled Explosion” would be more accurate.

I once was teaching at a conference and at the end of a session, one of the attendees came up to me said he really enjoyed my presentation. Then he asked me if I liked Hugh Ross. I said I admired his work and used it a lot when witnessing to atheists. The man got angry and said, “We’ll in that case I’m not coming to any more of your sessions.” Later a lady came up and told me that this guy had told the group of people lining up to squeeze into my next overfilled session that I was an evolutionist. But this was a false attack by a brother in Christ. Neither I, nor Hugh Ross and Reasons to Believe, believe evolution is true. In fact his ministry has published numerous books that refute evolution specifically.

Remember the Big Bang is not equal to evolution! The Bible says the Big Bang happened; it describes something that sounds exactly like the Big Controlled Explosion. The Bible does not say evolution happened. They are two separate issues.
