“When are you going to give him a chance to explain?” Jordan asked lying in the bed. She’s been staying with me since her release from the hospital.

“Explain what? He slept with her and they admitted it. I can do a lot of things but taking care of a another woman’s child you cheated on me with ain’t gonna happen.”

“I understand but maybe it was an accident.” I put my hand up. Jordan is very cool with Rob so I get why she’s going hard to get us to talk.

“If you’re wondering do I love Rob, absolutely but Kayla has been a problem in his life, hell our life since we’ve been together.” She tried to speak an I cut her off.

“Yes, he handles her and so have I but this is on him. Whatever took place, he should’ve never put himself in a situation to be alone with her knowing she still has feelings for him.”

“I agree.” She lifted her phone for the hundredth time.

“What are you looking for?” She slammed it down and laid her head back on the pillow.

“I’ve been trying to call Dom and he’s ignoring me. I wanted to tell him the truth about Jerome.”

“The truth? We all know y’all aren’t together.”

“Jerome made me say some things to Dom and I’m not sure he’ll speak to me anymore.” She let tears fall down her face.

“Hold up. How long have you two been messing around that you’re crying over him?” She smiled and tossed the covers on her head. Instead of prying, I went downstairs to start dinner. I’ll get in her business later.
