The data segment content (Figure 4.13) depends on the specific configuration in your system and the bare minimum is the required fields in transaction VA01 (Create sales order). Below are the fields that worked for me, as an example.

At the header level:

Order type (E1EDK01-BSART). I used standard type OR, but there might be other order type used in your system.

Requested delivery date (E1EDK03-IDDAT = 002 and E1EDK03-DATUM = date in YYYYMMDD format)

Sold-to partner (E1EDKA1-QUALF = AG, E1EDKA1-KUNNR = customer account number or E1EDKA1-LIFNR = external number if you maintained cross-reference in transaction VOE4)

Ship-to partner (E1EDKA1-QUALF = WE, other fields as for Sold-to partner).
