I heard a “testimony” a few years ago where a minister was talking about visiting someone sick and dying in hospice care. He went to go show his concern and love for the person and as I listened, I thought it was such a kind and noble thing to do. Towards the end of his story he told the audience that he felt so helpless in the situation because he knew there was absolutely nothing that he could do to help the person. All he could do was be there and let them know that he cared. When he said those words, I thought here is a man that has come to believe that prayer has no power. A believer who faces any situation and yet believes there is no hope, is someone who has been misinformed horribly. Our God is merciful and powerful being our ability to comprehend it.
