Chapter Nine
Cody held Sam in his arms and slowly moved around the dance floor. He looked at Troy over her shoulder and smiled. They held her in between them, sandwiching her against their taller frames.
Only in a town like Merricks would they get away with two men dancing so close to one woman. It was just another reason that Cody was falling in love with the town and its people. They didnât judge here, and they didnât make apologies for their lifestyle choices.
After a couple of fast bump and grind songs, where Troy and Cody had used the opportunity to touch Sam and rub up against her soft body, they were now slow dancing and enjoying holding their woman.
Cody was ready to leave and take this somewhere private. He wanted to show Sam and Troy how good it could be between the three of them.
âLetâs take this back to your place, Sam,â Cody whispered in her ear.
Sam nodded and turned to face Troy. She pulled his head down and whispered something Cody couldnât hear in Troyâs ears. Whatever it was put a smile on Troyâs face.
Cody let out a small startled yelp when Troy grabbed their hands and rushed them toward the door. Sam waved goodbye to her friends as they were rushed past their table.
Cody shivered once outside in the night air. It had been hot in the crowded bar, and Cody had taken off his jacket, which now sat back in the bar, where he had left it on the seat.
âWait,â he said. âOur jackets are still in the bar.â
âGo and grab them,â Troy said. âI will warm the car up.â
Cody wasted no time running back into the bar and grabbing their abandoned jackets. He smiled shyly at the men who laughed heartily and made jokes about their eagerness to be alone.
When he was back outside, he ran to the car and jumped into the back seat. The interior of the car was still cold, and soft music played in the background. Sam sat quietly in the passenger seat while Troy had been lucky enough to drive again.
âReady?â Troy asked, putting the car into reverse.
âI have been ready forever,â Cody replied. He was so hard at the thought of finally getting these two alone. He was going to burst the moment they got naked. He needed to calm down and fast.
Troy drove back to the shop, and Sam directed him to the parking space around the back of the shops. Climbing from the car, Troy tossed Sam the keys, and they followed her up the back stairs to her apartment.
Cody had never come up the back way before. Sam had always taken him through the shop. She had explained that her little one-bedroom apartment had come with the shop and was convenient but one day she would like to move into something bigger.
Sam unlocked the door and flicked the lights on as they followed her into the kitchen. It was neatly styled in a shabby chic way, with distressed white wooden cupboards and feminine décor.
