Self-management: Teal organizations operate with a large degree of autonomy, yet coordinate effectively across organizational boundaries. Self-management does not mean that people do whatever they want; it means that natural hierarchies emerge based on a set of interlocking structures where decision-power flows to the person who has the interest, expertise, and willingness to oversee a given situation.
