Stretching Your Legs While Talking on the Phone

On the days you plan on a long lunch/short nine holes, use your time in the office to warm up. Make a phone call, tuck the phone in between your ear and shoulder, and follow these steps:

1. Lower yourself onto one knee with your other leg in front, foot flat on the floor, as if you were proposing marriage.

2. Set your palms down on the floor, as if set up to sprint; your hands will remain flat on the floor throughout this exercise.

3. Slowly raise your butt upward.

4. Straighten your back leg as you rise up.

5. Slowly straighten your front leg as much as you comfortably can to stretch your front leg hamstring.

6. Stretch for 10 seconds and then repeat for opposite leg.
