Do you remember the benefits of repeating and analyzing what you have been doing? To do this, you have to review what you have done and take the time to explain!
I can quickly review everything in the "Done" column. It helps to "touch" all projects and make a note when there is something left to do or when you want to write the next step for a project. It is also essential to know what could not be done and to determine why it could not be done.
Did I make more plans than I could handle? Was there something that stopped me? If I notice patterns emerging (how to plan too much work, or someone or something delayed me), I take it as a signal to make some adjustments.
Managing time is a great way to tell if you are doing what you think you are doing. It's easy to brag and say that we work hard or study hard, or any other priority, but do we do it? Managing your time is the best way to find out. And it is easier than you think.
When you review your weekly routine, take the opportunity to discuss your journal. It's a way to organize your ideas. Having a journal brings many benefits, and even if you don't consider yourself a creative person, it's worth a try. During your weekly work routine, review the entries from the previous week and analyze the trends you observe.
Every week you have new ideas, but what do you do with them? The worst answer is "nothing", and the second-worst is "I try them all as soon as they come to mind!"
A better way to organize all your ideas is by collecting them in what I like to call "the inbox of ideas".
Do not act as soon as you have the idea - just register it. This will allow you to distance yourself a little so that you can better evaluate it later and compare it with other ideas that have occurred to you previously. At the end of the week, check your idea inbox. Some will no longer seem so significant to you; others will be worth adding to your calendar, your reading list or a list of projects for the future.
