O did something he hadn’t done in he didn’t know how long; drank and smoke until he fell asleep and stayed in the bed the next morning not wanting to move. If he could kick his own ass for not telling Liv what was up, he would. Even though his intentions were pure in every move he made, the shit looked bad on paper. Trina must have texted Olivia before he threatened her ass because there was no way in hell she did that shit after the fact. When O tried to sit up, the room started spinning, so he laid his ass right back down. Closing his eyes, he thought about everything that happened after he left Trina standing in the alley.

To say he was pissed after dealing with Trina’s trifling ass would have been an understatement. The lengths that she had gone to keep a lie going was crazy as fuck. As O drove away, he felt a sense of relief because he could put all of that shit behind him; and the fact that he didn’t have to tell Liv made it that much better. That thought alone made him smile for the first time since he picked Trina up a few hours ago. He was going to call his woman back but decided to stop by the florist and the store to grab her a few things instead. The last time he cooked for her, they both ended up fucking and falling asleep before they could even eat, so spontaneously, he decided on a do over.

After making a few stops, including one at the liquor store and by his mom’s house, O made his way home. Aubrey had fallen asleep early and his mom explained to him about the outing Olivia accompanied them on. That made him happy as hell. All thoughts of Trina were gone, he just wanted to hold his girl tight in his arms and deep down, he wanted to say those three little words to her. The words were little, but they meant so much, and O really loved Liv. He couldn’t even pinpoint the exact moment he really fell for her because it was a combination of things. They hadn’t spoken the words to each other, but his mom always taught him that tomorrow wasn’t promised, so he wanted her to know. Just that thought alone made him think about Will. He missed his cousin and often beat himself up about not doing more. Life was definitely short.

O hopped out of his vehicle, grabbed all of the bags, and then made his way to his apartment. He wanted to go straight across the hall to see his woman but went inside his own place to get everything together. It wouldn’t be long before she was in his arms and his ass couldn’t wait.
