2.3 The Yablo Paradox is Circular?

The debate over whether the Yablo paradox is circular begins with Graham Priest’s (1997) “Yablo’s Paradox,” and, now that we have considered and rejected the structural collapse account, we shall continue our examination of circularity by considering the arguments found there. After surveying the construction of the arithmetic version of the Yablo paradox (see §1.2 for details), Priest argues that the Yablo paradox is, contrary to appearances, circular, and therefore does not challenge the presumption that paradoxes are inseparably tied to circles of some sort:28
