Arriving at the luxury hotel that Cam was still footing the bill for I took the elevator upstairs to their suite and knocked on the door.

“Hey.”

“Hey, where’s Reign?”

“She’s in the tub.”

Walking into the room where Sierra was staying she had a bunch of shopping bags everywhere. We were currently down and out and she damn sure didn’t have a job so how the hell did she pay for this stuff? I was praying she didn’t get caught up just because a nigga was spending a little bit of money on her. The last thing I wanted was for her to follow in my footsteps.

“Either you robbed a bank or hit the lotto.”

“Put my stuff down.” Sierra said snatching the dress out of my hand. We hadn’t been seeing eye to eye lately but I was tired of fighting with my sister. Life was too short to be upset about things you couldn’t change.

“Sierra I don’t want to argue anymore. We’re family and at the end of the day we’re all we got.”

“Agreed.” She said but her face told another story. She was still upset but that was typical Sierra.

“Where’s mom?”

“Somewhere, I don’t know she left earlier.”

I was trying to focus on the conversation but when I started noticing designer label shopping bags I immediately went into big sister mode.

“Where did all this come from?” I asked going inside her shit. I didn’t care if she got an attitude or not she couldn’t beat my ass.

“What?!”

“Where’d you get the money for this stuff?” I asked, picking up the Gucci purse. Initially I thought it was fake but I knew real Gucci when I saw it. Just because I couldn’t afford nice things right now I damn sure knew everything there was to know about all the major designers.

“Don’t worry about it!”

“You don’t have a damn job Sierra and neither does ma so where did you get this stuff from?”

“None of your damn business. Reign! It’s time to get out!” Sierra started yelling. I guess that was her way of telling me I needed to get out but we had a score to settle before I did.

Nobody else was going to say shit to Sierra. They never did and that was a part of her problem. She thought she could just go through life doing what she wanted to do with no repercussions or consequences because my mom let her think that was the way the world worked.

“I was just messing with you but now I’m curious. Where did the money come from?”

“None of your damn business.” She snapped.

Going through more of the bags before she came over there and tried to snatch them away I noticed Reign’s book bag. The same book bag that I put the money Tay gave me inside. The same book bag that I thought burned with the rest of my stuff.

“You took my money?”

“What the fuck does it look like?”

“I can’t believe you Sierra! Why would you steal from me? All you had to do was ask but instead you went behind my back and took something that didn’t belong to you.
